Packaging
Our commitment goes beyond performance: we protect the crags and gyms we love by using packaging that aims to reduce the environmental impact. We are using recycleable materials and hope to move toward biodegradable and plant based materials to avoid unnecessary use of raw minerals.
Our promotional packs for "Pure Crush" and "Pure Powder" are made from paper, PAP21, a widely recyclable material.
We are currently developing packaging that uses PLA 7 a plant based material that can be industrially compostable. We are aiming to source a more sustainable method for our packaging and will ensure that the materials used are clearly identified to ensure they can be disposed of in the most effective way.
Our "Pure Liquid" is made of plastic containers (HDPE). We are always on the look out for better options. Currently HDPE offers a robust container for the liquid chalk. It is widely recyclable with properties that allow multiple recycling opportunities and is a durable material that can be re-used.
